You build a profile that covers more than a résumé does: your sport, your role on the team, your strengths, and the kind of environment you want to work in. The biggest piece is your Personal Insights questionnaire, which tells us how you work and what you're like on a team. Employers on Prospect HQ tell us the attributes and culture they're hiring for, and we put skills, attributes, and culture in one place so it's the right fit for the right reasons.
Personal Insights is a short questionnaire about how you work, how you handle pressure, and the kind of team you thrive on. It's the part of your profile that goes past your stats and shows employers who you are. Spend about 10 minutes on it and you'll match far better with the companies actually looking for someone like you. It's the highest-value 10 minutes you can put into your profile.
Companies that specifically value what athletes bring to a team. They've told us they want people who show up, take feedback, and compete, so they come here to find them. You'll see roles across many different industries.
Once your profile is set up, the jobs feature populates opportunities in about 10 minutes or less. From there, the more complete your profile, the faster you show up in the right searches for the roles that fit you. Finishing your Personal Insights questionnaire is the single best thing you can do to speed things up.
Yes. Internships work the same way as full-time roles. When you create your account, you will be prompted to select what type of work you’re looking for (full-time, part-time, internships, etc.). Build your profile once, and the app surfaces both jobs and internships that match your attributes and preferences. If you're still in school or looking to get a foot in the door, you'll see internship opportunities right alongside everything else.
Your profile is shown to employers on the platform who are looking for candidates like you. We don't sell your personal information. You control what's on your profile, and you can update or remove it whenever you want.
Right now the app is available on iOS through the App Store. If you're on Android, you can join and build your profile from our website in the meantime, and we'll let you know when the Android app is ready.
